Lee? He fits there well. I'm not sure who was at fault on the flea flicker but....I like the move, as Taylor has been very good and we need him on the field. But I wonder who will play the Nickel now?
Looks like JoJo. I wonder is that is a spot Poa-Gates can work his way into.Lee? He fits there well. I'm not sure who was at fault on the flea flicker but....
At least this week. I would be surprised if Deontai doesn't have at least a shoulder separation if not fractured collar bone.So are we to infer that Pickering and Deontai are donezo, if not for the year then for several games?

yes he can. That puts speed back in the secondary..can Domann cover?
yes he can.
It was either #5 or #6. It was the perfect fake/move by the receiver to sell it as a run. The route was perfectly run by the receiver.Lee? He fits there well. I'm not sure who was at fault on the flea flicker but....
Great point. Colorado executed its offense nearly perfectly in the fourth quarter. Kudos to them. Montez's tying TD throw could not have been put anywhere else. Jackson got a fingertip on it, even.It was either #5 or #6. It was the perfect fake/move by the receiver to sell it as a run. The route was perfectly run by the receiver.
Unfortunately I deleted the DVR this morning but I know they will show it on big red wrap up
Judging by how Deontai came back out for the second half against So. Alabama in pads with no helmet, I think he has a concussionSo are we to infer that Pickering and Deontai are donezo, if not for the year then for several games?
I'm confused...you know that all defenses employ TWO safeties? Cam is moving and replacing Lee, who was already a backup and was one for a reason. I worried that he fell into a couple INTs and we would have to let him struggle for a week before replacing him. The sound bytes from the coaches made it sound like he wasn't too impressive in fall camp and then just "exploded" in game 1.Logical spot for Domann. Will be excited to see him on the field as well as Taylor.
Sounds like they finally have seen enough out of Dismuke. Boom or bust dude and seems like more busts through two games. Not that the defense has really been the problem.
Young guys and inexperienced guys at a lot of key spots still.
I'm not sure we have anyone to replace Dismuke right now. We are very thin a Safety.Logical spot for Domann. Will be excited to see him on the field as well as Taylor.

Dismuke is still starting. Eric Lee is the one who was replaced.Logical spot for Domann. Will be excited to see him on the field as well as Taylor.

Eric Lee cheated a bit on those interceptions. As long as you don't get burnt, it's ok to cheat once in awhile. But he still read the plays well and our safeties play aggressive in general.I'm confused...you know that all defenses employ TWO safeties? I missed that, I just assumed he was replacing Dismuke. Guess I didn't notice Lee in the CU game, did he play poorly?I'm confused...you know that all defenses employ TWO safeties? I think it has something to do with the fact that Deontai is done for a long time, if not for the year. Since more is known about the injury, they may be moving Cam Taylor there over Eric Lee now that it's a long term change on the depth chart with DW done for quite some time. Cam Taylor is a stud, and I think Eric Lee will continue to play, but they're putting their best players on the field. I just think Lee is the odd man out.I missed that, I just assumed he was replacing Dismuke. Guess I didn't notice Lee in the CU game, did he play poorly?
I will confess to not knowing much about Safety play but it surprises me that the one with 2 picks and a TD is the one losing his spot...

Deontai didn't play that poorly. On the play be got hurt, he made a very good play. Lee missed a few tackles as has most of our team.He was a backup, and considering Deontai played really poorly in his 2 quarters that is a little scary. Lee missed a ton of tackles if my memory serves and considering he is already replaced it probably serves.
Williams caught my attention early in that game in a bad way - one pf for the late hit out of bounds, lucky he didn't get a second pf for a horse collar tackle right after that, then he missed the qb in the backfield allowing him to scamper into the end zone. Sure, plenty of others have missed tackles and made mistakes, but his were glaring in the So. Alabama game.Deontai didn't play that poorly. On the play be got hurt, he made a very good play. The pf out of bounds shouldn't have been called. A Wisconsin player blasted a punter out of bounds on a fake punt that was much worse than Deontai's play and that was never called.Williams caught my attention early in that game in a bad way - one pf for the late hit out of bounds, lucky he didn't get a second pf for a horse collar tackle right after that, then he missed the qb in the backfield allowing him to scamper into the end zone. It was at the exact same spot on the field. The player had one foot in bounds and the other headed toward out of bounds when the player was hit.Pretty sure that's not what officials care about when making calls.
Jojo is dogshit in pass coverage. I'd pick on him all day if I was the NIU OC.Looks like JoJo. I wonder is that is a spot Poa-Gates can work his way into.
