I should know never to count this team out but the last two losses are beyond gut punches. At this point I'd sign up for 10-10 in the big and that's probably not good enough.

Well, you beat Indiana, and in reality, Ohio State. Just because you lost a rivalry game doesn't mean the season's shot. This is a tough team. I think you will still have a fun season to enjoy.

No we won't. We have a better chance of finishing 8-12 than 12-8. We just aren't good. Tonight was some of the worst basketball I have ever witnessed.
Teams that have mediocre offense have no margin for error .Rutgers has great difficulty scoring 65 points which isn't enough in many games.Today Rutgers scored 43 points and were lucky they only loss by two points.
RU always beats Indiana and that atrocity in Columbus still counts as a loss. That’s 3 losses to Temple, Miami and Seton Hall OOC - not exactly a murderer’s row. This team is what it is. Good and physical enough defensively to keep the games lower scoring and ugly, but is lost offensively. Shooters need not apply.
We have not won a close game this season. All losses.
I haven't recovered from the Ohio State ripoff and then we look like crap tonight. After I sat through the Giants getting humiliated by the friggin Eagles. I'm on a hot streak.

I'm right there with 'ya. The OSU screw job, the stumblebum act put on by the Giants, and now RU lays a complete stinker, (at the RAC/JMA no less). -And I totally get it when people say, "Hey, it's only a game", and on a rational, unemotional level they're right. ...But still, GOOD LORD, it really does get to be a bit much to deal with after a while.
How can you say that after watching Indiana and OSU games. Tonight was a turd, but you can’t base season on one awful game.

Sad, but so very true. As a Rutgers fan, no matter which way you turn more often than not you feel like you've just walked into a brick wall. -Oh well, on to the next game, (I guess).

What does being in the B10 have to do with losing to an AAC, an ACC, and a Big East team?
I wouldn't actually call that lucky, only because the team played reasonably well on D to keep the game close.
The offense was a clunker, obviously, and agree that there's little margin for error.
