I was thinking that was probably the case but was wondering if anyone knew what kind of injury and when he would be back
All injuries that aren't season ending are not disclosed by most teams. Has always been the policy by this coach, and by most of our other recent coaches. You already had your answer.
As for Kendarin Ray, Montgomery said he has a "significant lower leg injury."
what are the chances we win a hardship case after 5 games and get him for another year?
He redshirted his first season, but this should be an easy case to make if he's done for the season, as he gets an extra year due to COVID anyway...so I think he'll get the extra year either way.
Bro, if you were watching the game when the injury occurred or the pictures of the med staff working on it, my guess is a broken lower leg or ankle. His foot was a little unnaturally sideways when I looked.
He was injured during the OkState game right? If I remember the play correctly, it looked like a high ankle sprain.
