To make Feinstein's argument valid and meaningful she needs to provide actual supportive information/data rather than a declarative statement originated by her. Granted some come in through legal means, such as visa, and hen just do not leave. That aspect needs attention ALSO. But, to take no action on either front is truly criminal. She is admitting that nearly half (and it, most likely is much greater than that, come walking in across the open south. That group would be cut off with a well fortified border. Above all, those already deported would find it much harder, to impossible, to return as we have seen by several who have committed atrocious violence. Those picked up AND DEPORTED for overstaying their Visas would also find it much more difficult to re-enter through the southern/wall-less areas.
The wall is not costing much at all--yes the amount sounds high to the general public, However the dollars being requested constitutes about ) 0.1% of the total Federal Budget (may actually be far less as we are often told the amount is one tenth of 1% or 0.001% of the budget). I;m confident there is far more waste within Government spending than what this constitutes.
