Harris just wrapped up her acceptance speech. Very.... uninspiring. Blah rather.
Media recognized it and immediately began the repetitive blathering of the "historical moment of the first African American woman on a major ticket..." and how her speech was "extraordinary".
They can't be more fake excited. Well, they could, but that would WAY too over the top.

It's all over now. Biden has given his speech and we'll see how much the needle moves in the next couple of days.
Don't see it moving much. The talking heads are trying their best to make it at least palatable. However, I think they are at least thankful he didn't commit many gaffes and they know he's not an inspirational speaker like Obama or Clinton were.
Touched on most of the Democrat talking points while ignoring the bad. Trashed Trump like one would expect but promised to cure covid starting on Day 1 (don't know why he and Kamala would wait until then - they could do so now by introducing the bill in the Senate but, ehhh). Stayed away from abortion, the riots, defunding police, and such while trying to rally his base of women and African American voters.
From that speech, not likely it moved much if at all. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.
