Not true. He asked the lowest polling candidates to drop out of the race and coincidentally, the lowest polling Democrats are people of color. It's unfortunate that some view this through the lens of race but if Democrats want to win, this is the way.

"Two new polls have Hilton and Democratic candidates billionaire Tom Steyer and Rep. Eric Swalwell consolidating their support.

According to the UC Berkeley-Politico poll, Hilton still holds the top spot with 19%. Steyer comes in at second with 13%, and the other candidates are trailing close behind:

  • Swalwell, 11%
  • Bianco, 11%
  • Former Rep. Katie Porter, 11%
  • Former State Attorney General and Health Secretary Xavier Becerra, 5%
A new Emerson College poll has similar results with Swalwell and Hilton in the top two spots.

The chair of California's Democratic Party, Rusty Hicks, warned that if Democrats with low poll numbers stay in the race, the party could face disaster."

Stop justifying MORE LEFTWING RACISM.

STOP HUFFING ELMERS

Think about how racist the left is. First, all non-white candidates are polling in single digits. Evidently, the good people in CA don't want a non-white governor. Then the democratic party tries to stick a fork in them and not let them have a chance to change the minds of the racist leftwing masses...

Before you go on yet another rant, I'm simply applying leftwing dogma to the hot mess that is the CA governor race.

Cory Booker says Democrats have ‘failed this moment’ and calls for new leaders

Democrats have failed. Period. Full stop. They are a national disgrace.

By saying what he is saying, he wants more extremism. Hell with "centrist policies." lmfao...

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/mar/29/cory-booker-democratic-party

Cory Booker, the Democratic senator from New Jersey, renewed his calls for new leadership of the Democratic party, saying the party has “failed this moment”.

“As a whole, our party has failed this moment,” Booker said on Sunday. “I’ve called for a generational renewal, because this left-right divide is killing our country and our adversaries know it.” He also said that “purity tests” within the party have led to more division in the US.

During an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press, Booker also said the Democratic party has “too small of a coalition”, especially as the party seeks to confront “new challenges”, including Trump administration policies and the expansion of artificial intelligence and technology.

Booker’s comments come amid growing divisions within the party, as frustration with Democratic senator Chuck Schumer grows. Some Democrats, specifically on the more progressive wing of the party, have discussed replacing Schumer, the minority leader, as midterm elections approach. Progressive senators reportedly see Schumer as an impediment to change for the party, due to his centrist politics, and as an obstacle to standing up to Donald Trump.

I'll agree with Booker on a couple of items...we do need some generational change. There are way too many over 75 year olds running things - from both parties. (and I'm one of the over 75 yo but I'm not running anything anymore)

And, our government is now defined by left- right divide. We have to get back to compromise if we are going to address the country's problems.

So you've got your AI girls and your paid ones but young women 18-29 lean strongly left with only 28% defining themselves as Republicans. I can assure you the 72% that disapprove of the Right aren't all homely, blue-haired fats.

And less than 20% of them approve of Trump. Dude, you have nothing left to brag about. He's cooked.

Here is the state of the democratic party..... lol.... The funniest part is that so many here pretend that the democratic party is normal.... Then they try to justify it by saying, "it's only a small fraction."... lol..

Not a King: He's Their Obsession

https://www.realclearpolicy.com/articles/2026/03/30/not_a_king_hes_their_obsession_1173569.html

Just look at the scenes from the recent ‘No Kings’ protests.

In Philadelphia, demonstrators gathered under the banner of anti-authoritarianism while chanting ‘Death to America,’ ‘Death to Israel,’ and ‘Long live the intifada,’ waving Palestinian flags as if they were at a rally in Gaza rather than a major American city. In New York City, the message became even more explicit: ‘There is only one solution – Communist revolution.’ Not reform. Not debate. Revolution.

And we’re supposed to believe this is about opposing tyranny?

The hypocrisy isn’t subtle – it’s staggering. Protesters decry ‘kings’ while hoisting communist flags, symbols of regimes responsible for mass repression, famine, and death on a scale that dwarfs anything in American history. They don’t want kings, we’re told. They just seem perfectly comfortable with dictators.

This isn’t an accident. It’s the natural evolution of a Democratic Party that has been overtaken by its progressive base. Moderates are an endangered species. John Fetterman is a rare exception who occasionally breaks with the progressive orthodoxy. But exceptions don’t define a party – its loudest, most ideologically committed voices do.

And those voices are increasingly radical – and anti-American.

Consider Minnesota State Rep. Leigh Finke, who branded Republicans ‘fascist thugs’ at a ‘No Kings’ rally. That’s not fringe rhetoric anymore – such language is now mainstream Democratic party discourse. Or take Ilhan Omar, who stood at a ‘No Kings’ protest and suggested the United States is not a beacon of hope, but a bastion of authoritarianism.

This is what Democrats think of the people they are supposed to represent – in reality Democrats don’t want to govern, they want to rule.

In Boston, at another ‘No Kings’ rally, activists declared that ‘the U.S. will never be free until the stewardship of this land is returned to its indigenous peoples.’ Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with elected Democrats like Ed Markey and Ayanna Pressley, the message wasn’t reform—it was something far more radical: a rejection of the legitimacy of the United States itself.

When Rahm Emanuel says Democrats have “lost the plot,”
that should terrify the party.

This isn’t a Republican talking point.
This is Clinton’s adviser, Obama’s Chief of Staff, Chicago’s former mayor, former congressman, and one of the Democrats’ most ruthless insiders saying the machine has gone off the rails.

When one of the architects of modern Democrat power starts calling out the brand, it means the rot is too obvious to hide.

They traded working families, public safety, borders, and kitchen table issues for ideological obsessions and performative outrage.
Now even the insiders are admitting the party stopped listening to normal Americans.
When the fire alarm is coming from inside the house, the blaze is already out of control.
🔥
If Rahm Emanuel is saying it out loud, imagine what the rest of them are saying in private.

Former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel admits Democrats 'lost the plot' as a party on cultural issues

And the plot is STILL lost.... I do have to wonder if he's just saying this for a broader appeal. I mean, I agree with the guy. We shouldn't be worrying about the potty one uses, but instead progress in education.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/former-chicago-mayor-rahm-emanuel-132344461.html

"We lost the plot," he said in a snippet shown on social media from the "Fifth Column" podcast. "We as Democrats nationally, from ‘Latinx,’ to defunding the police, to ‘Police organizations are all racist,’ to bringing a set of cultural wars to our schools. We are on the losing side of those cultural wars. Full stop."

"You are worried about bathroom access and locker room access, why don't you focus on classroom excellence?" he rhetorically asked. "You have 50% of our kids not reading at grade level."

"Well, they can just say, ‘We can do both,’" one co-host of the podcast said.

"You've proven you can't, because you've permitted a 30-year-low in reading and math scores and nobody seems to be calling the whistle on this," Emanuel said.

"We've lost the plot," Emanuel repeated. "Because the party got un-anchored."

He went on to argue that past successful Democratic presidents "anchored" themselves to middle-class values that reached a wide variety of voters. The Democratic Party, he said, "went from acceptance to advocacy," and noted there is a huge difference between the two ideas.

San Jose Mayor: Us Democrats Must Take Ownership for Our Failures

I love that people like GayBear pretend that democrats have the higher moral ground. Bottom line? Democrats cannot govern.

https://www.newsweek.com/san-jose-m...-take-ownership-for-failures-opinion-11767388

Donald Trump has never come close to winning an election in California. But California has helped Donald Trump win two national elections.

Not because of our values. Because of our failures.

Wildfires that swallow up entire communities and recovery that takes too long. Massive tent encampments and open-air drug markets hollowing out once-thriving urban corridors.
Unchecked suffering on our streets.

Two decades of broken promises to build more homes. The nation’s highest gas and energy prices. Public schools that now lag Mississippi and Louisiana in getting kids on grade level for literacy and math proficiency by the 4th grade. And a government that reflexively asks for more tax revenue before figuring out how to do better with existing resources.

Most of these problems are visible. All of them are visceral. They are the kind of things that get easily caricatured on cable news, made into effective campaign ads and turned into viral social media moments. “Don’t let this happen to your state,” the voice-over says. Next thing you know, a convicted felon is back in the White House.

We are a state with Democratic supermajorities in both houses of the Legislature, Democrats in every statewide office for 15 consecutive years, and Democrats occupying more than 80 percent of the seats in the nation’s largest congressional delegation.

Democrats Prefer Replacements to American Lives

https://chroniclesmagazine.org/web/democrats-prefer-replacements-to-american-lives/

The loyalty Democrats show to illegal immigrants is obvious and frustrating to many Americans. Indeed, it is one of the most salient facts of modern American political life, so much so that a recent Harvard-Harris poll found that a majority of Americans believe Democrats want open borders. The party’s militant commitment to stopping President Trump’s mass deportations, to whipping up the populace against ICE, and to shielding violent, foreign-born criminals leads to no other conclusion. Illegal aliens and their U.S.-born descendants—who according to current application of the 14th Amendment now receive automatic citizenship—are the reserve army that the party plans to use to build permanent political power. For Democrats, continuing mass immigration is imperative, no matter the cost.

John Fetterman Slams Fellow Dems for Associating With Hasan Piker

Big John refuses to cede to the extremists that have become the democratic party.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/amy-c...ems-for-associating-with-hasan-piker-n2673964

Radical Leftist streamer Hasan Piker is a darling of the Democratic Party. He's planning to attend an event with Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed this week, he has ties to New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, and he recently traveled with a bunch of Leftists to Cuba, where he wore a $700 shirt while extolling the virtues of communism. Piker believes America deserved 9/11, supports Hamas' terrorism — including its use of rape on October 7 — and shocked his dog on a livestream.

There’s almost no Amendment in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights that the Democrats haven’t flat out trampled on:

🟢 1st Amendment: Freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly, and petition.

—They used social media to censor & silence conservatives for years.

—They recently used paid protestors to disrupt a church service.

—They silenced media outlets through threats & lawsuits.

—They’ve arrested Christians for praying outside abortion clinics

🟢 2nd Amendment: Right to keep & bear arms.

—They’ve flat out said they want this amendment gone & they want to disarm us.

🟢 3rd Amendment: Restricts the quartering of soldiers in private homes.

This is non/applicable in modern history, but something comparable:

—Using taxpayer money to house illegals in hotel rooms.

🟢 4th Amendment: Protects against unreasonable search and seizure.

—They did this to a President of the United States at Mar-a-Lago.

🟢 5th Amendment: Guarantees rights to due process, grand jury, and protection against self-incrimination and double jeopardy.

—Ummmmm J6’ers

🟢 6th Amendment: Ensures the right to a speedy, public trial by jury and legal counsel.

—Again, they kept J6’ers locked up for years without so much as a hearing.

🟢 7th Amendment: Guarantees a jury trial in certain civil cases.

—The left honors this, but uses lawfare against political opponents & fabricates crimes in blue states with woke, radical jurists.

🟢 8th Amendment: Prohibits excessive bail, fines, & cruel and unusual punishment.

—Ummm, Trump again…and J6ers.

🟢 9th Amendment: Protects rights not specifically enumerated in the Constitution.

—The right to privacy comes to mind. The Democrats, under Obama, spied on private citizens.

🟢 10th Amendment: Reserves powers not delegated to the federal government to the states or the people.

—Meant to preserve state rights & personal authority.

—The Democrats supersede this by building an ever-expanding & over bloated federal government, buying off activist judges across the country, & using lobbyists to control state politicians.

—It’s evident that dirty NGO money also comes into play.

Hasan Piker lays bare the left’s double standard on hate

MORE LEFTWING EXTREMISM.. Today's democratic party relish's bigotry and hate......

https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/5823321-hasan-piker-democrats-association/

There is an old proverb: Show me who you associate with, and I’ll tell you who you are. By that measure, luminaries of the far left told us exactly who they are on Tuesday in Michigan.

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed (D), and Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), and Summer Lee (D-Pa.) chose to share a campaign stage with the extremist influencer Hasan Piker, who has said that “America deserved 9/11” and that he “hate this f—ing country so much.” Tlaib told Piker, “You’re always welcome here” in Michigan.

These Democrats aren’t alone. Others, such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), and the former Obama staffers at Pod Save America have also cozied up to Piker, hoping to appeal to the young voters who watch his radical Twitch streams. Democratic leaders are content to remain silent about Piker’s growing influence, even as they rush to moralize about extremism and hate on the right.

Recall their outrage in November 2022 when Trump hosted white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago. The Democratic National Committee said, “If it was any other party, breaking bread with Nick Fuentes would be instantly disqualifying.”

Then-Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) denounced the meeting as “disgusting” and “pure evil,” while Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) added that Republicans who remained silent were “complicit in legitimizing bigotry and hate.”

Now the same statements can be applied to them.

Piker has earned his reputation as the left’s Nick Fuentes, with enough vile and hateful statements to fill a book. He has argued for “killing landlords,” stated that it “doesn’t matter if rapes happened” in the October 7, 2023 Hamas massacre in Israel, and called Hamas terrorists “a thousand times better than the fascist settler colonial apartheid state.”
