I was thinking the same. We play in Lincoln next year, but after that, they’re no longer on our schedule. Why make a big deal like this about a nonconference opponent you will not longer play?

I was at a bar/grill in Buena Vista CO 20 years ago with a couple of other guys. There were a couple of roided up young guys in Buff T-shirt’s scowling at us then I realized I had a Husker shirt on. The bartender was about 6-10 and I commented to him that I thought there might be some trouble. He just laughed and said “I’m from Omaha. We’ll be fine”.

Agree it's almost like some of the stuff Frost did. Stuff from the past that more successful coaches did but he does not know why they did it.
