Whenever you have a rim protector like duke has,it makes defense much easier! To beat them you either have to have bigs that can shoot to pull him out of the paint, or shoot lights out from 3! I don't see any front court this year beating duke inside!
And any guard penetrating will have a difficult time getting there shot off inside on him!

Auburn if Broome would hit 3+ 3's and pull him out and pettiford,Kelly,Jones are hitting they have a shot!

I think there are two keys to beating Duke, Force Konupple to take tough shots all night and get Malauach in foul trouble. That’s how we won. It changes their defense totally when he’s out of the game and Flagg needs Konnuple to open the floor for him and Proctor.

It's been proven that if you want one of the two in college basketball actually elite offenses tend to win more than elite defenses in March.

THAT BEING SAID.........

you want both. Period.

Alabama and Duke have elite offenses. Only Duke had the elite defense of those two teams.

It's not so much the offense number or the defense number. It's the difference between the two numbers. The wider the gap, the higher your efficiency margin is, the better you are.
