Instead the shot selection was horrible. The one shot I recall us making was a baseline prayer from Kopp.

There was a weird shot coming back from a timeout, under 8 I think. Member of the support staff was giving him water, and Collins seemed to be asking some question about ... logistics or arena layout or what’s the point in speculating. Anyway, just seemed weird to be focusing not on the players/team.

(This comes across as way dumb, I realize. But it was also very deer-in-the-headlightsy.)

Collins was confirming the number of fouls on each team looking up at the scoreboard in the corner. He clearly said "they have 7, we have 9".

As someone has mentioned he was confirming the number of fouls on each team and as always, it's James who usually draws up the plays. Like a lot of you have said over and over, get someone with more experience to help the offense. James is definitely that guy!

you guys ever watch the women? the tall blond assistant coach is basically the one sitting and talking in every huddle. it never seemed odd to me until people on this board called out collins for the same.
