Is it the straw that breaks nvidia's back. Im sure the plunge protection team was working overtime early this morning.
It is certainly interesting. Some think that DeepSeek has a secret stash of 100k Nvida computers but cant say as much due to trade restrictions.
However, the claims from DeepSeek seem to check out. Supposedly it cuts the cost of LLM's by 20X.
Now, as far as valuations go ..... the market seems to think this hurts NVDA's valluation. It is currently trading down 17% on the day. Buying opportunity? I think so. The chips still work. They are still useful. So, less compute goes into the AI models ..... more compute can go to other things? Id be looking for an NVDA rebound in the next couple weeks
