Been committed for about a year. Mullen and Hevesy went to watch him over the weekend I believe.

Wonder if they pulled his scholarship.

Not wanting anything bad for the kid, but hopefully it was Mullen's call. We need all the big OL we can get.

Kid's been committed since summer of 2014. We've recruited him since he started as a freshman.

Either way, hope he does well.

I can't imagine we pulled a scholly from a long time commit OL when we need the bodies and the help...especially after traveling to see him play. My guess is he watched The Egg Bowl and decided to look around

Well then your guess would be wrong.

Apparently he got benched on the 3rd serioes in the AL State champ game.

I don't know why. I suspect attitude problem.

This one is weird to me. We've been on him a long time. Big programs sniff him for gauge of interest and talk about bringing him in on officials. Momma is supposedly happy with MSU.

I suspect there's been some attitude question marks and that might be the reason he got benched in the State champ game. Also, possible coaches may have found out something about him that's not known by a lot of people. Very peculiar situation.

Rosebowl says he'll have some info soon.

Yeah all signs point towards him losing his scholarship last weekend. I'll be surprised if he ends up at a P5 school.

There is no 17n way we finish that low. Not possible. It will be taken out of mullen's hands. Back to back EB anal rapes changes everything.

Hope you're right. We need to get filthy.

Everybody knows Auburn, Bama, LSU do "whatever it takes" on the recruiting trail. You know what's in their trophy cases? Trophies.

I hear ya, but it's hard to deny the talent gap between us and the top teams in the country, OM notwithstanding.

I hate to tell you, but there's always going to be a talent gap between us and the top teams in the country.

Losing to your hated rival in the first quarter does that to you. Especially when said coach stood on the podium when he came here and said this rivalry was the most important game of the season and that we would win the state of MS.

It's very frustrating when we get our *** kicked.

No, adults choose to become emotionally petulant little children. A poor showing in a quarter of a football game doesnt drive grown men to act like emotional teenage girls, they CHOOSE to act that way.
Perspective has unfortunately been lost on many at this point.

I seem to recall that Dan's very first game for us was with Jackson State. He referred to them as our "in-state rival". He may have thought they were Ole Miss, or really may have thought that since they were in=state, they were also a rival. He's learned a bit since then.
