LOL, the chokehawks are going to be terrible next year. Who is their best returning player? Well, I guess Azubuike, but other than that? Griimes? Dotson?
I’m doubting you get all that, considering we don’t even know who the new coach will be yet.Grimes won't be back. Look for Hampton to commit to KU and Hurt. We'll probably add a Beverly or Enaruna plus a grad transfer post player as well.

You take a lot of **** here, but I enjoy your takes. Grimes was a stud. You still have McCormick.Grimes won't be back. Look for Hampton to commit to KU and Hurt. We'll probably add a Beverly or Enaruna plus a grad transfer post player as well.

The epitome of wishful thinking!Grimes won't be back. Look for Hampton to commit to KU and Hurt. We'll probably add a Beverly or Enaruna plus a grad transfer post player as well.
Why would Hurt want to go to KU?
The epitome of wishful thinking!
You may still get hurt, which it’s less than 50 percent, but you act like that it’s business as usual and you seem to forget the fact the ncaa is going to come in guns a blazing, but carry on with the denial.
No, but I also don’t ASSume we get all remaining targets either!I don't know. Do you go through each year assuming that you have zero chance for your top targets?
Not only that, but their recruiting has sucked. What all the sudden an NCAA investigation and Self's worst year in Kansas, and... they're just going to magically get all the remaining guys?
.. but I hope so. I really am rooting for Kansas to get some guys to give Duke a scare for next year's CC classic. I don't want Hampton and Hurt going to Duke, I'd rather they go to Kansas, where it really won't amount to much.
To compete for a national title? For media exposure? To improve his draft stock? Because he's a midwestern kid and Lawrence is in the midwest? Because Bill Self is a HOF coach? Should I go on?
1. LOL
2. He can get media exposure at any BB
3. Draft stock will be what he makes it
4. I doubt midwest plays any role
5. Cal and k are hof coaches also
We had 3 McDonald's AA in last year's class, plus a 3rd team AA transfer in Dedric Lawson. If Udoka doesn't get hurt and Vick wouldn't have been a knucklehead, we would have clearly been a top 3 or 4 team all year long.
Sure, but the question was why Kansas. So, I gave some reasons on why Kansas.
You have no way of knowing that for sure. And last years class was the best Kansas has had in some time. They have no one now. They need to bad 1000 the rest of the way.
Also, I noticed you never commented on De Sousa? Still think he's coming back? Or did you realize what everyone else already knows?
Come on Noone; As a KU fan, I would be overjoyed if we pulled in Hurt, Hampton and the others you mentioned, but the most likely reality is that we won't get all of them. I think Hurt is Duke bound. There is a cloud hanging over KU due to all of the Adidas stuff and it has hurt recruiting. I just wish the NCAA would do what it is going to do so KU can move on
With that being said, KU has a decent core to build upon. If all four freshman come back (I think Grimes is the only one who might go), KU will be good, not great. They were starting those four guys at the end of the season, but they were freshman and we know how that goes....
You don't know who will round out our class, so you can't say we are going to be good and not great. Too early.

Hysterical that you tell one of our posters not to project when that's exactly what you were doing with Kansas' injuries and suspensions this season..
Good luck with all that. We're all rooting for Kansas to keep these guys away from Duke or Memphis.
It’s nice having a realist Kansas fan. I enjoy baby though. Agreed but you can't state we are likely to land both Hurt and Hampton. With respect to good vs great I was responding to others who said that KU will suck next year. Don't think we will suck. We will be good and possibly great if some pieces fall our way. We recruited JRE for years and look how that turned out.You don't know who will round out our class, so you can't say we are going to be good and not great. Too early.
He's our Heroes Hero or whatever that dude is called. I actually think he might be this guy called Moosehawk on KU's board. Noone are you Moose? It’s nice having a realist Kansas fan. I enjoy baby though. He always has high hopes
Is Azubuike coming back? Seems to me he needs to heal and go to the NBA while he can. I like him as a player a lot, but he's a big fragile.
Yes or no.
Do you remember when you laughed at me for saying Kansas would not finish top ten to end the year?
Don’t give excuses just answer if you remember. All of the incidences were always on the table. I knew Kansas was overrated anyway.
Do you remember laughing at the idea that there’s any way Kansas wouldn’t finish top 10?

That may have been before Udoka went down. I recall posting that once that happened we were done as far as hopes to compete for a title.
