Can you then explain why Comey told Trump he wasn't the target of any surveillance but then testified to Congress that the FISA court was told he was a target?
Was he lying to Congress, or to Trump?

Yes, the regular script they give every campaign. It was never stated to Trump that the FBI was investigating contacts with his organization, which would be status quo for even... ChiDiFi when they found the spy.
They were also each offered forensics protections against potential "hacking" and Dems refused the FBI's offer and got hacked!
Trump and the Repubs took up the FBI's firewall offer and their "collusion" "obstruction" clandestine plans remained secret! [eyeroll]
Meantime, Russians got hold of all the sh*t hacked off Podesta's server and gave it all to Trump who then hid it from the FBI which then told the FISA court which then gave the go ahead to spy on Trump and find out what other dirt he had on Hillary supplied by those sneaky *** Russians?
They just forgot the Russians had targeted him too, that's why they never told Trump about the FISA snooping.

would have been better that Obama acted in a way other than the dog running away with his tail between his legs and yelping. Obama KNEW of Russian plans/attempts to influence our election and was too feckless and weak to even attempt to deal with it. He and his staff did NOTHING to thwart their actions.
The Dems want to attack, impeach, ridicule Trump when the more appropriate target is the hunk of worthless protoplasm that occupied the White House for the 8 previous years. Much of the Russian 'collusion' began with the Obama White House and the aftermath was accentuated by ultra corrupt higher echelons of Justice, Intelligence, and FBI. Mueller was an illegal investigation and staged as a coverup for all the illegalities that occurred during and by those in the Obama administration. FISA warrants were illegally obtained through lies. and nit wits on the Left still are unwilling to realize/accept that it is their 'gift to humanity' that is at the heart of the biggest scandal, potentially, in the history of the USA. Jail terms are called for to include people such as the AG and, yes, potential impeachment of the former President.
