I think when the portal closes it just mean nobody new can enter it. We will still be shopping for talent into the new year.

Well, scratch the tight end from that list.

I believe that's for anyone that plays in a bowl game on 12/28 or later.

We are in a dead period until Jan. 5th so no in person contact is allowed (e.g., on campus visits). The only activity that will occur until then is either commits from a visitor prior to the dead period or new offers going out.

Additionally, expect quite a few players to announce they are leaving after the bowl game. A lot of them will be walk-ons and scholarship players that haven't played much. Hopefully we'll be able to retain the key guys on the two deep and promising young players.
