Again, clarity is obviously needed. I am 100% inline with easy91's perspective on this thread. I shared my perspective on Trump's lack of a plan but what easy91 is discussing is Trump's "want". (yes, politicians have desires and expresses them even though certain excuse maker's will deny it as they have on other threads)of attempting to deporting all illegal immigrants. But there is no plan shared on the how he is wanting to do it.BRU, thanks for pointing out to easy91 that you heard the same thing from Trump that I did. I also have never heard of any plan he had. One more thing....What the hell is a "mouthbreather"?
I think you have captured the problem with different vernacular.
Allow me to offer that most of us want our borders to be honored and enforced. The US has been the most moral country ever, considering the cash gifts we offer to most countries of the nation annually. We have a legal entry system, and would like our border laws to be observed. Just obey the f'n laws.
Perhaps my source was bad, but I understood that the legal Hispanics are opposed the illegals having free access at the borders. The GOP base totally ignores how many legal Hispanic voters there are and how their statements alienate them. You would think white people were here before Hispanic people lol.
Could I possibly be wrong? May have to read what I wrote. One of the few, or perhaps only, thing that's come up where I am in complete agreement with you. Everybody talks about immigration reform, but we really need a reformation or do we just need to better enforce what we already have in place? I extend the same thought process to gun control as well ... let's do a better job of enforcing what we have before we decide it needs changed.
The caveat I would add to that is if the current laws/policies are impossible to enforce, then we need to make some tweaks. Still not total reformation though.
