Penn State and Michigan in the Big 12?
No? Then I don't care although my son-in-law is a Nittany Lion so I guess I'd like a family member to be happy.
But I'll be watching WVU at Baylor instead. And 3 other Big 12 games from noon till midnight. Great conference, by the way.

Would love to see it but Michigan has a special way of losing games and they'll probably screw this one up too.Both head coaches are often called overrated and this is going to be a big game for them.

You can look at the last 10 Big East seasons for WVU to see that. 10 1st or 2nd places finishes in a row
Since coming into the Big XII. One 2nd place finish last year.

It would be because it would take you a long time to even be able to form an arguement about the Big East being anywhere close to the Big XII.
Especially after Miami, Va Tech and BC left.
I believe after they left WVU was the only school in the conference to win a BCS game.
Except for Louisville when they played a horrible Wake team
I actually referred to other posters/writers comparing the two conferences.

When people realize that reason is not someone's determining factor but the person's ego is sometimes it is best to leave the situation alone.
Point is these forums are widely read my many different people. Most of them do not even post on here. A lot of these people are not even fans of your university nor fans of schools in this conference.

I'm a simple man (I know I'm setting myself up for dork responses) but I always root for the conference that my alma mater is in and for the teams in it when they are playing teams from other conferences.
It just makes sense.
The better that Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU, Texas, Kansas State do -- hell, even Iowa State and Kansas -- then the better the Mountaineers look to the rest of the nation when WVU beats them.

Did the PSU admins get out of jail recently for covering up the molestation of children?
Was it a ‘classy’ release and does their house arrest and probation requirements meet your lofty standards ?

They did not cover up or they would have been convicted of that. They were convicted of misdemeanors because there was no cover up. In fact, all the cover up charges were dropped.
Since you're so outraged, I'm sure you will be cheering hard for Penn State when they play Michigan State since there was obvious cover up at Michigan State. It couldn't be just an extension of your hatred for Penn State due to football over the years. It has to be your concern for the kids.

No, we were discussing your prayer to the football gods for PSU to lose to Michigan. We will never agree that the coaches and admins did not cover it up (even though the courts agreed they didn't) but you have your beliefs and I have mine. Maybe you should gear your wishes to your own conference where it will help you, but that's your choice. WVU will have their shot at PSU in a few years, so good luck to you. WVU has a chance to win the conference this year, so good luck to your team.
