BYU never popes teams never have a defense. He wasn’t winning unless they put up 80 or more. This is the first time pope has had a team that can defend and he doesn’t know what to do. And he’s already burned out from the job. Idk if you have seen or heard the kinds of things pope says to his team. That’s not what you say to young men you want to become alphas. He has in a way feminized our program. His style his effeminate. Some of the things he says are out of the mouth of my sister maybe my wife. This is why we are getting smashed. 80% of the game is between the ears and pope is super smart and a super nice guy (too nice). Pope and his platitudes have weakened the program and at times confused the players. We need a legit coach. Pope will never be respected. Year 2 and his superstar is pulling a shaedon. If we are a first or second round out in the ncaa that’s equivalent to our fb team winning 4 games. I mean our program coached by a lottery winner can achieve that. The longer this goes on though yeah the less and less tradition matters. We need Barney out of the way, pope gone and get Oates. He isn’t flying high off a final four like last time. Although they could get to one. Oats is a perfect example of someone who needs the brand, BBN and our tradition. Tradition alone gets uk on every top 10 recruits list and when. They cut it to 4 Kentucky is still there. We need a coach who can capitalize on that before it’s too late. No other team like uk duke Kansas UNC is good for a stud player based on name alone. Pope though scares players off
Our gas logs weren’t working but a buddy just got us a set of gas ventless logs installed for $775. It was 42 when I walked back in and is already up to 49 after about an hour. This will allow us to stay here, which is big.
Going on 5 days without power now. It would be fine if it wasn’t so cold outside, feels like we’re living in Canada, eh.

It’s wild having grown up in that gym I just never viewed it as anything other than awesome. UK is always a big game so y’all have taken enough L’s there to hate everything about Memorial Gym, I get it.
If you ever went as a non UK fan to watch a big game, I bet you’d enjoy it. Unique place to watch hoops.
We have some real naive people here and quite a few wine and cheese fans. You think he'd spend three days here if they lost? He'd put it out of his mind as fast as he possibly could. He's done this crap before. NOBODY goes to another board unless they want to be seen. Nothing worse that a sore winner.

It's not losing that's the issue. In sports there are wins and there are losses. It's the manner in which we lose. If we are prepared and fight our tails off and come up short, you have to tip your hat and get better. The issue is I don't think that we're working our tails off and it's on the head man to fix and if he can't (I believe the team walks all over coach) then he's not the man for a job like this. Yes he's a awesome human and I wouldn't mind him being my father but a basketball coach he doesn't appear to be at least not at the top level that he knows is expected at a place like UK. He screwed himself with all the we know the assignment talk. Yeah that pumps up the fan base but there better be some deliverance or things turn fast.

I can't argue with this. I am hearing the same thing from Florida fans down here and we haven't played them yet. The word is out on Kentucky all over the SEC and probably the nation. Kentucky is Kentucky in name only. The program is only a shell of what it once was.
Teams are licking their chops to pour it on and make up for the many decades of losses when UK was a basketball elite. They see a wounded wildcat in the water with no hope.
Just like the OP is hoping to keep people engaged while he bathes in it. smh

I remember a fan from another team going crazy on the board once, but are you sure it was him? I thought it was an Arkansas fan that did that the most recent. The worst one I can remember was several years ago from a UNC fan
The OP has a history of respect on the boards. Certainly not a troll and discusses ball. He shows up moreso after losses than wins. I can promise you there is no satisfaction taking place.
