Yeah if he plays ( which I bet he does ) I seriously doubt he will drop 20 much less 30. BUT even if he did drop 30 his team could still lose easily . KSU is not a very good team. They aren't bad either but if we are going to be afraid of them it would be like being afraid of the Bama, Miss St , Arkansas in our conference as they are that level of team.

He may play but he's not going to be very effective. That injury will be nagging him the entire time he's out there.

I guess this guy is a pretty good player, but it seems like some think he's Dirk or Lebron good. He's a decent player on a decent team. End of story.

Which SEC team was KSU most similar to?

Tough one to answer. I wouldn't say they are exactly like any SEC team.

Shot in the dark comparison: Slower and less athletic version of Arkansas. Not a great offensive team, they grind it out, lot of dribble drive, hack and slash defense.

I’ve heard a lot (well, one) of fans talking about this and am afraid we are going to talk it into actually happening. Thoughts?
Kansas State is 0-7 versus teams in the sweet 16. 0-6 with him playing. On top of that, there is a 0% chance he is any better than 75%. He isn't even out of the pain phase with the stress fracture yet. He may be able to play a little and deal with the pain but he won't be able to cut hard or jump much. Remember Keith Bogans playing on his sprained ankle? It will be a lot like that. After him they only have 5 players who give them anything. I don't think they can play with UK for a full game, with or without him.

Nothing surprises me common sense would tell you that he couldn't be effective in this condition, but as we all know players that shouldn't have often had career nights against UK. If he were on our team he wouldn't play until year after next but opponents heal more quickly than our boys do.

Guys typically have their career nights against us, but fresh off an injury? Doubtful. Though, they did have a guy who only averages 3ppg go for 17 on someone last game I believe. Thats usually what happens to us. Regardless, if we play even a C+ game, this should be a win. Anything B+ and over should be a slaughter. Let SGA go to work and run PJ at that defense 15 times minimum.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he even scores 20 and even if he does go for 30 we still win. I just don’t want us talking it up so much that it actually happens, because that happens all the time apparently.

I would say more like Bama . They can score like Arkansas does.

If my kid had a stress fracture and he's only been out just two weeks no way I'd let him take a chance on further damage. A good coach wouldn't allow it either.
