Seeing Zach Wiegert get elected to the CFHoF, I'm just curious as to why in the Hell isn't Dean Steinkuhler in as well?

Man was a machine. Outland & Lombardi Award winner. Consensus All American. 3rd team All Century team with Aaron Taylor.

Plus who can forget the fumblerooski run in the Orange Bowl.

What more does a college lineman need for a resume?

Seriously? Who in 80’s and 90’s didn’t? Did it affect him as a player or others around him? Seems like he was a pretty standup dude?!
He played well above competition and definitely deserves every accolade that comes with a player his caliber! One of my top 5 Huskers of all time!

i don’t disagree … however I’m not sure steroid use in others were confirmed .. only rumored

Bill Fralic and Jimbo Covert both admitted to taking steroids while at Pitt. Both are in. Mike Ruth, Steve Emtman, Chris Zorich never admitted but just look at any of them and you know.

Steinkuhlers career is one big highlight reel.. whoever is nominating, better get their shiznit together! Steinkuhler is definitely the “Kiss” of rock Hall of Fame!
