That would take an incredible amount of ****** luck. The first pick is CBS day game. One of the next three picks is the 11am ESPN game (I am not sure what order they try to put these in but assume the 2nd most desirable game goes into prime time, and then not sure if they put the third best game at 11am or the other night slot). And then the 5th best game goes to the SECN night slot, with the last two going to the 11am and 3pm SECN games. So roughly:

1st - CBS 2:30
2nd - ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU night
3rd - ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU night
4th - ESPN 11am
5th - SECN night
6th - SECN 3pm
7th - SECN 11am

I just can't imagine we're not going to fall in the 2nd, 3rd, or 5th slot again, especially with a couple of weeks not having many SEC games.

Higher priority as in ESPN put us in that spot because they view the matchup as more appealing than every game outside of A&M-Arkansas (the CBS pick) and Florida-Tennessee (the ESPN #1 pick).

If there is a gripe, it’s with them picking UF-UT over State-LSU for the prime time spot, and I’m definitely open to that argument. But I’ve seen people complaining that TV picked Bama-USM and Kentucky-SC over our game and that’s simply not true. Night game doesn’t necessarily mean higher TV pecking order.

If we were the number 2, 4, or 5 SEC game this week we would be playing at night. Just so happened to be unlucky and end up the in the 3 slot.

I was thinking they'd do their first night slot before the 11 am game. I guess the 11 am game is just competing against the SECN game and they want a good one there.

That should be good for us though. I suspect we'll fall in the 3-5th slot more than the 1, 2, 6, or 7 slot.

It’s the 2014 A&M game again. They put No. 6 vs No. 12 at 11 am because it just so happened to be the third best SEC matchup that week and that slot on ESPN right after College Gameday gets more TV viewers than a night game on one of their secondary channels, which ESPN2 and SECN still are.

They are going to give Bama one ****** time slot so they can say they don't play favorites that will be us. I hate to say it but I think it's going to be like 2019. I am a season ticket holder and I really hope I am wrong. I hate day games. 11:00 is really hard to do. However I will be there. I will not use it as a excuse. I am going to support the dogs.

Devil's advocate....there have been a couple of awesome 11am kickoff Big 10 atmospheres already this season. Assuming it isn't a million degrees, no reason in theory that can't be the case with the SEC.

Those of you who regularly buy on the secondary market. Right now I can get tickets around the 30-40 on one of the first few rows for $70-90. Would you expect prices to go down as game time nears? I haven't bought any on the secondary market since the Mullen years.

Not completely unfair, but it was Tyson that didn't pitch to Boobie on I think 3rd down. The 4th down call was a good play call in the sense that it has LSU completely fooled and all we had to do was execute, except they were so fooled was that there is a reason you don't expect the coach to put the ball in the hands of its under talented QB for that play .

I have season tickets but based on attendance so far and this game starting at 11:00 I think prices are going down.
