So if Scott Field had been built in a different location where there are no dead Indians, how would our athletic history be different? I figure that we would be Alabama in football and would have won so many baseball titles by now that everyone else just gave up. The Indians seem to be stirring today and it made me wonder.

For now, the Indians are content that we did not hang an "Oma-dogs" sign behind home plate.

When I start the what if game I always go back to what if we had kept Darryl K Royal instead of letting Texas poach him.

If it had been built, say about 82 miles to the east,

We would have several national championships, a bell tower with player footprints, and a Bear Bryant museum.
