It certainly didn’t help our situation with the other recruits not holding Georgia offers. It probably removes any chance Rhule would want him back when he transfers from Georgia.

I usually agree with 100% but this was no small time recruit with no residual backlash… this is THE major player on the national landscape with historical ties to us… if true, Rhule should walk away from any future relationship
The rumors are crazy. This isn't 1985 where there were no cell phones or anything. These could have been texts or group messages, before, during and after the visits.
I am not defending Raiola, but if one of these recruits asked him, are you really thinking about coming here, and he said, I think I am going to UGA, then who cares? The only reason a few of them were even here is because he was here, so him telling those players is a big nothing burger to me.
As I understand the rumors...Rhule did just that....and if a lot of top rated guys were here just because DR was here...then we were using him to.
Kind of feels that way to me. Don't love it, but come on...kids are going to peer recruit...when you bring in 20+ studs that can go anywhere they want, are we really surprised when something like this happens? I'm not.
