Has to be a backup piece. So might be ok in that role.
What makes him a combo guard? He averages more turnovers than assists.
Good lord, another injury-prone player with meh stats and a higher turnover rate than assists. Top 30 in steals means there are 29 better defensive guards out there...

Between Wilkins, Montgomery and Diallo, they could share “starters’ minutes.” That is the benefit of starting two PGs.

Decent player. He had a BPM in excess of 5 last season. Stud on defense posting an outstanding steal rate.

Would’ve just been a less athletic, worse shooting version of Trent Noah anyways (I fear we may be screwed).
They are filling out their roster foundation - Pope has no foundation and still in desperate mode.

man…worst recruiting cycle we’ve had since Tyrone Nash chose prep school over UK 20 years ago.
I truly feel for the fans who are somehow still invested in the transfer portal these last few days. Once the Freeman story broke that was pretty much it for me. Ill circle back once the season starts to see if this is a team even worth watching, and then ill really tune into the coaching search a year from now.
