Day game basketball thread

Fascinated to see how we fare against Villanova. Probably the best non conference matchup for us in years. If only it wasn’t at 1:30 on a Friday afternoon in a high school gym.

How many Turnovers did Woodard and Feazell have? This team is a PG away from being a very good top 15 team.

I'm in maroon, with mstate and more than enough Villanova fans came up and mentioned that they didnt realize we were in the tournament. Espn did their job and had us listed as Missouri State on the website for tickets.

And Villanova must be very similar to bama football. Met lots of chatty nova fans who never set foot on campus. The ones sitting next to me asked, so where is middle Tennessee and how far was your drive. When I said I have no idea where mtsu is, he realized and chuckled. The half *** apology garnered a "so when did you go to vandy".

A point guard or a plan around it. They looked confused on how to help, should be workable.

Carter ends up being the player of the game.

It's the Big 5 in Philly that has two recent championships. So mix Philadelphia sports fans with a championship bandwagon.

Oh I get it. But sheer ignorance is amazing. The espn interns are wandering around too...I want to ask them when ole miss game is today. Heh.

I’m still baffled as to why Howland didn’t go hard after a PG grad transfer.

He will be back after his tutor-gate suspension.

[Dawgzilla]

Howland looked funny in his velour warmup suit....like an old guy from the Sopranos.

I thought he choice was funny too.

We are calling Nick a savior PG now?
