the coaches were told to relax, yet Pitino has to make it about himself

UConn already has I think 7 offensive rebounds. MD can’t grab a board. But they’re winning.

How does a for-profit Christian school that just became D 1 a handful of years ago get to the tournament so quickly? They actually look pretty good. They went from like 1000 students to 20,000 on campus and then 60,000 or something online what a weird set up

And now it's a final - OU over UVa. Nice to see the acc go down (again).

UMd up by 9 with about 2 minutes remaining.

What do you make of Tony Bennett? He won a national championship and has been at the wrong end of same major tournament upsets , including the biggest ever . It’s March

Big 10 goes 6-3

Alot of talk about UConn this year but they did absolutely nothing of subsidence.

Toughness counts. Maryland has it

Great job by the Scarlet Knights, Wolverines and terrapins, as well as the "children of the corn"-looking Hawkeyes, stepping up and winning 4-straight 1sr round tournament games after Ohio State and Purdue completely **** the bed yesterday.

I had never heard of GCU until I moved to Tucson in September 2017 and began noticing their basketball scores and the fact that some of their games were televised. But even more surprising was that they had a real fan base, with most of their games drawing upwards of 6000, which Arizona State just down the road wasn't drawing for most of their games (they've since done better attendance-wise). But I didn't realize that they were a religiously= school so perhaps they have something going on like Liberty and BYU do. They are in one of the smaller Western states conferences, which gives them a route to the NCAA.

They are in Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix and is the 4th most populous county in the USA with well over 4 million people. So they do have a sizable population from which to draw their growing student body.
