It could be worse.... we could be ranked number 2 in the country and lose at home last night to a sh1tty Northeastern team. Or Vandy losing at home tonight to a sh1tty team.

Bunch chicken littles in here I swear. We lost to #1 by 1 run in extras. Currently down on the road at #10. Yall act like we got dragged by Jackson St on our own field. Losing happens in baseball. We are still a very good team. Still more than half this game left to go too, so either step away from the ledge or go ahead and hurl yourself off of it
And we will shockingly win that one 18-2. If these bats could just 17n get going. Chip into that lead.

Ostrander knows how to do more with less. I was advocating for us to hire him. Most everyone on here laughed at that. If we had hired Ostrander instead of the current staff, it’s very plausible he’d run the program at half or less the current $8M annual expense plus half NIL level, and still be really good- obviously.
Oh we'll be fine. USM is good enough to make Omaha this year. This is just a bad spot for us. Again, I wouldn't care at all, but I gotta listen to friends and family who crow about USM anytime they do anything remotely decent.
Oh well, if our administration had listened to YOU (who the heck are you, random internet troll), then we'd obviously be in much better shape. LOL

Why get Os when we could get anyone we wanted? Especially a proven coach with CWS success. A guy named Corky was the only guy to ever get USM to Omaha.
I have news for you: I rarely read into early season rankings. And baseball is a long season.

Yes our football team would be in much better shape if they had only listened to me- we’d have more money to spend there in many ways. Hiring baseball coaches is not rocket science. Their baseball spends FAR less but achieves results relatively similar to ours. Ostrander would also have done well here.
If you could get similar results for half the price- expenses + NIL- why wouldn’t you do that? Then spend the other half saved to better your money maker- Why wouldn’t you do that?
