A&M hasn't played a game since 1/30.

I think we get revenge from the early season loss and win by 10+.

Damn. What’s been going on there to shut them down for 5 weeks?

We need to split our last two regular season games, IMO. This seems like our best change to get a W. The A&M game is our most inexcusable loss of the season, IMO.

A loss here would be rather disappointing, even by the 2020-2021 MSU basketball standards.

“We need to split our last two regular season games” to do what?
Or just as a moral victory to end the season?

The NIT is only 16 teams this year. No chance in hell we make it unless a lot of teams opt out and choose not to play.

I was talking from Howland's perspective. I don't have much faith in us in Nashville. So, if you lose these last two and go 1 and done in Nashville there will be alot of groaning out of the fanbase.

If we can split these last two, we'd likely finish middle of the pack in the SEC. It's hard to complain too much at that point.

Good. Just a participation trophy tournament anyway.

Course, I can see the booger eaters participating, and possibly winning it all and then declaring themselves pre-season national champs next year.

I mean maybe we lose em all and he retires and takes an admin role so it helps us hire someone.

Just spit balling. Mainly I just hope he retires.

Disagree. NIT is good tournament experience for the freshman and maybe Howland will figure out his best 8 guys by then. There's been a bunch of teams that've used deep runs in the NIT into better seasons the following year.

Actually, I agree with you. Just having good fun by echoing what so many other people say every year. You know, the National Irrelevant Tournament, and all such as that.

Especially for a young team. As people have mentioned, we're presumably not going to make it, but I think every game this team plays is going to be helpful for next year, and it'd be nice to have something of a tournament experience if they make the NCAA like they should next year.
