I would sit him in the overtime. Maybe he will hit a big shot, but how much is he going to give up on defense?

It actually might give us the best chance to win if he fouls out early in this overtime.

Yes he is, can’t stand him. Brings us nothing.. he cannot even shoot. Wheeler is a problem too. Out of control, cannot see.

I just don't like our guard play outside of Tyty They turn it over and can t shoot a lick most times.

Mintz is fine, we need him. I’d like to see us run better offensive sets, especially in crunch time/last seconds of a game just one time.

Mintz was beaten off the dribble or on that backdoor play 5 times in the 2nd half.

Tried to force shots too often also.

We really need him to step it up while Ty Ty is out. He struggled to stay focused for some reason. Hope it's just a blip.

It was a bad game for him, no doubt. Guys have bad games. He was being switched around tonight and he also had foul trouble. He couldn't play his normal defense because he was in foul trouble all night. He wasn't making shots. But he basically kept us in games at LSU and Auburn and has had some big games. He will be fine. He may have his best game of the season on Saturday.

Get him out of the game. He’s keeps getting beat back door, and he couldn’t guard a statue. Turns the ball over, takes bad shots. It’s like he bet on Mississippi State. He’s horrible.
It's like when they pull on the jersey...they believe their "skill-set" DNA changes into an NBA-ready commodity and every possession is an audition for the up-coming NBA draft. Then after every turnover or airball, we are reminded that he is a Creighton "transfer". Sad part is that he can't help it...he just is who he is. Calipari put him in this position and he's out of his depth...plainly obvious.

A Cal team getting beat back door is common place, ND back doored the entire team the entire second half and beat us.

He is not a good defensive player but Cal seems to overlook that with him. He is an example of a number of players on this year‘s in previous teams that Cal has is favorites and they can make mistakes and not pay for it while other players can’t make a half a mistake and don’t play or get yanked a minute into the game.

Good points. The people criticizing Mintz just don’t know basketball. It’s unreal some of the takes in here.

To be clear, all I said here was it was a bad night for Mintz. I like him and think he’s a key player for this team as an energy guy off the bench. He just can’t have too many more nights like last night.

His defense was horrible. He was acting like he wasn’t guarding their best player last night.

Odd night , usually when dudes have bad games its TO's or they cant make a shot .. last night he was absurdly bad on D .. I mean if Dontaie Allen gets singled out and Cal says " I just cant play him " WTH was last night ? Mintz was far far worse than anything DA ever did defensively .

With the blast shield down I can’t drop more than 10 dimes a game.

Mintz had a bad game but I like him and think he helps the team. Not every play is going to be seen on ESPN.
