Davie Co 2026-27 Schedule

I think with coach Brian Hinson in his second year Davies new baseline should be last years season, given that I will give my predictions. Feel free to add any thoughts or suggestions.
8/21 @ West Fo- Loss
8/28 Vs West Rowan- Win
9/4 @ Pinecrest- Win (last years game Davie won but the refs called back 2 touchdowns so the scoreboard says Pinecrest “won”)
9/11 Vs Oak Grove- Win
9/18 @ North Davidson- Win
10/2 Vs North Iredell- Win 4-1 (1-0)
10/9 @ Statesville- Win 5-1 (2-0)
10/16 @ Mooresville- Davie has the grit this year to win this game, so I say toss up, but loss, 5-2 (2-1)
10/23 Vs Lake Norman- If LN ends up being as good as everybody has put them out to be LN will win this game by 20+, 5-3 (2-2)
10/30 Vs South Iredell- Win 6-3 (3-2)
I think Davie has the ability to make it to the 3rd/4th round of the playoffs this year.
My floor for them is 5-4 and my ceiling for them will be 8-1.
This Davie team is unpredictable they could be spectacular and fun to watch or a big disappointment but I think that is pretty unlikely.

Statesville Homecoming will be Oct 9th vs Davie. Statesville will have to play a great game to have a shot at competing with Davie. Last year at Davie County Statesville shot themselves too many times with a lack of Disclipline and stupid pentalties. Davie won 22-7, but the score was alot closer than 22-7.

Running back/ linebacker, he is a freshman this year, he went to Ellis middle school, although I can’t find anything about him transferring to hough though.
