Football Davie at West Foruth

Probably a little bit of both. Big crowd though. Davie has to miss the CPC gates.
Yes, but they can never win the big one in football. Playoffs almost every season only to fall short against a Charlotte area team. But they are a solid program with great community support and big crowds at their home games.
Yep, pretty much this. Good program but never on the level of the big boys. Will probably lose by 3-4tds next week at Grimsley and run the table after that, only to lose by 3-4tds to Hough in the playoffs
Davie has no life in them. We have no motivation leadership. Sometimes you got to get into someone’s tail to bring out the best in them and our coaching staff 92% of them just need to hang it up. Got kids walking on the field and off the field. Kids not being prepared to go in on special teams after offense and defense of drives. No one is taking pride in the orange and white DC across their chest anymore. Coaches as well. Starts with our leaders!

Davie’s Secondary got tourched by Mr. Levi and his nasty receiving crew!
Davie’s Run Defense is the only thing working!
To answer the question is Davie that bad?
We need some coaches to make some changes and start feeling younger and lighting fire and passion and Vision into the kids or it will be a long season ahead. If you can’t score then you can’t win. We are definitely not what we was last year as a team. 7-5 record this year? I don’t see us having a winning record after tonight’s performance.
Is West that good?
Offense they will go toe to toe with a lot of people on the scoreboard. There Oline isn’t that good this year for the run game. But Mr. QB can sling the ball quick and escape so that helps. The question after tonight is how good is there Defense. Middle linebacker is a stud. Davie’s play calling and stuff tonight was ridiculous so that helped there defense look good but we are that bad on offense. I see West making it 3-4th round in playoffs.

Next couple of weeks will tell the story For West ,Grimsley, Richmond County.
I know this about West Forsyth, they have a great passing offense led by a Sophmores QB who threw for over 326yds and 4 TD’s. He’s got good size and can really spin it….A lot of hype around the Village about how good this kid(Levi Morales) really is…I’ll say this… he can throw a football very accurately. Now, he’s got the best WR Trio in the state with Moore, Grimes and Marrow who are all college bound and they all looked impressive. A Soph QB dream. AND, Don’t forget their TE Chambers.
BUT…. It’s time to see the real bullets fly on Friday August 28th at Grimsley. He‘ll see a lot more pressure than what Davie could throw at him. It will be totally different … the West running game is not quite what it has been the past few years but the Bulldozer RB Zayden Hairston got about 100yds. He not the fastest but he’s a power runner that wears you out in the 4th quarter.
The West defense was better than I expected even though they gave up two long passing TD’s which is really their strength in that secondary. I think that’s very fixable and both plays were assignment related. They are very athletic…look tall across the entire defense. Not the widest, heaviest defense but very fast, lean and athletic.
The West secondary got buried last year by Grimsley”s QB Brody Lowe, So I expect a better performance with Josiah Nicholson and B Marrow patrolling the secondary. They better be fired up!

Well said lol. Davie has a toxic community and the parents are out of control. No accountability. They're getting exactly what they deserve.

The bad part is that it’s truly a small portion of parents that are causing the issues. The behavior in the stands is embarrassing. Some of the bad behavior is coming from uncles and aunts living vicariously through their nephew too…
Yeah man it's always the dumbest parents making the most noise. The loudest guy in the room is always the scaredest. Parents who actually played tend to have a better understanding of how it should look. Then you get weak administrations with no backbone who give in to the vocal minority.
Parents that played are the worst sometimes. They're the ones saying "hey Coach can I make a recommendation, or why don't you do this?"
Just because you played doesn't necessarily mean you know how things should look.
It's usually parents who just claim they played or were good. People who actually played at a high level tend to understand the process and that at the end of the day, it's the players on the field. They have to take care of business themselves. But yah you definitely get a lot of dads who rode the pine and tell everyone they were studs haha.
That too is valid. No matter what, there isn't much winning with parents these days. While it's a minority, it's a loud minority
Social media has given the morons a platform to spread their ignorance, and they certainly take advantage. I'm sure Davie has a plethora of keyboard warriors lol. But it's a pretty weak schedule so they'll win some games outside of Lake Norman and Mooresville. Hell WF is really good, not that the Davie parents have enough wherewithal to realize haha.
The world would be better without social media.
Davie will be fine. They should finish 3rd in the conference. Like you said, West Forsyth is really good. Stud QB with multiple weapons.
Davie will be okay. We know that game is a tough one out the gate. The offense is a question for us this year but our Defense will help keep us in games a lot.
