What happened to Sills...

Laquon Treadwell.

Minnesota knows defense. Minnesota is a defensive football team. They wasted a first round pick on Treadwell.

Treadwell still played in the NFL and might still.
But big WRs that are slow are being passed up because NFL teams are going with big corners.

Mike Farrell the main Rivals guy has stated a few times.
Slot WR that are fast and shifty are the desired player in college and the NFL.

Big WRs no matter their stats will not be wanted.
This doesn't mean Sills won't get to play or even make the team.

But Sills just came out at the wrong time.
NFL might eventually go back to smaller corners. Sills could stick around the NFL long enough for the NFL to change back.

With just over 2,000 yards receiving over those two seasons is what drew the eyes of Bills GM Brandon Beane and several other NFL personnel executives.

Only thing coming out wrong is you, TVZ.

They didn't use a draft pick on him.

If he does catch 30-45 passes the next 3 years Buffalo wins.

Talking about why he wasn't drafted.
Sills is a good WR but just in the wrong era.
10-15 years before he would have been a Day 2 pick.

He would never have been a day 2 pick. No matter what era he was in. There will be a ton of players not drafted that are picked up and shine for their team. The reason he wasn't drafted was because he has problems separating from a defender if covered well.

Remember Tom Brady?

Because CBs are 6-1 to 6-3 now instead of 5-9 to 5-10.

NFL teams went with big corners to stop these big WRs.

Sills actually could end up a decent WR if he can work out of the slot.
