Apparently close to a done deal. Talk about a mass exodus from BR it that happens. Will be a totally different team.

Well we will see how good of a CEO the ogre actually is. A good CEO can still build his organization.

Strike while the iron is hot.

Orgeron was opportunistic. He's smart enough and has the resources to get someone of Aranda's caliber. And he can recruit. LSU will probably be way down next year, but it's not often Joe Burrow comes along with Brady.

History is going to see this 2019/20 LSU run as a huge fluke.

Lightning in a bottle.

He's waiting for Kiffin to forget to use his burner phone when calling croots, hookers, and co-eds.

He really wants to be at Oxford. Doesn't everyone?

What? No Napier?

Who is he holding out for again?

South Carolina now. If Boom gets the ax this season. It's still a big if. I'm sure he won't be South Carolina's first person on the list.

I bet his asst. coaches that were pushing him to take the our job are PISSED.

LMAO whaaaat??? They have one of the highest talent profiles in the country every year. They may have caught lightning in a bottle, but it's no fluke for LSU to win a natty.

That's silly.

They definitely caught lightning in a bottle to be as good as they were this year, but the Ogre recruiting and $4M for coordinators alone will keep them in the mix for national championships going forward. May not be next year, and may not be every year, but they are going to be back in the mix with the Ogre at the helm.

Wasn't a fan of Napier to start with and definitely not now. He was looking a gift horse in the mouth. I'm glad we didn't get to make that mistake

Brady is a much bigger loss than Aranda. I feel like they can replace Aranda tomorrow. A lot of guys can field top 25 defenses at LSU with their talent. He had one defense in the top 5 at LSU. I feel like if you’re the top paid defensive coordinator you should be a little better than that.

There's a rumor that Aranda is interested in the ULL DC so at least 1 assistant coach might get a raise.

Call it sour grapes, but I'm feeling like Napier is Derek Dooley part deux. He'll end up coaching in the SEC someday and have an unremarkable showing.

With Dabo set in place and the cocks needing to get a bigger name to compete in the state, Billy boy might have to settle for Furman.

Orgeron will make a run at Bama DC Pete Golding and may get him. He’s from Louisiana and loves LSU.

Only if Pete feels pressure to get out of Bama and he is on the hot seat.

He might love LSU, but it would be a risk for him. While O's staff had a nice springboard season with the Championship. The next several years will probably not provide as many opportunities for staff to move on.

If Pete wants to jump into the head coaching ranks, he may want to stick with Saban.

Think he will make 1.2 mil at ULL this upcoming season so he paid much closer to 3 million to NOT be the MSU HC.
