Does he project to be a WR or DB? Rivals has him listed as an athlete. Just curious what side of the ball he'll play on.

He is a composite 4-Star. Nebraska and Boise were recruiting him at WR, Oregon and Washington were recruiting him at DB. Would be a really solid pickup and hopefully begin a string of commits in the next month to get this bad boy rolling.

NU likes at WR, but has offers on both sides of the ball which is exactly what this staff wants in their 'athlete's.

He is a 4 star on 24/7 composites:

No. 1 recruit in Washington, the nation's No. 12 athlete and No. 188 prospect overall

I like that we need him on both sides of the ball, so either would be fantastic. After a bit of a lull in commits it’d be nice to pick things back up again with this guy tomorrow. Then Wandale next week.

It does appear the less than stellar W/L record isn't hurting recruiting at all at this point. We could easily land Chase, Wandale Robinson, Benhart, Pola-Gates, Mayo and possibly JUCO OL Jeremy James over the next few weeks.

YO YO YOOOOO!

If you are all watching on 247 Sports, we just got like 4 or 5 CB's for Chase. That's a great sign!

Just to be clear, it sounds like Oregon and Washington offers are not committable at this time, which is why he is down to Boise St. and Nebraska.

Alot of stuff like this hinting he might be Boise bound. I guess we will find out soon.

Isn't looking good as I was just on Boise St recruiting page and there are no more 4 Star prospects but Chase as their other 4 Stars, not many though have already committed. so here's this. :(

But it didn't say anything about a 4-star, just a commit. I think alot of people read too much into the Boise tweet. Severe announced on the air that Chase had committed to Boise, based on that tweet and then walked it back.

I hope I'm wrong because I want him here. What I usually do is go to a players twitter account to see what's being said by others as there are sometimes slip ups where someone let's the cat out of the bag and then I go to the schools recruiting page to see what movement is on there.

Yeah I am not seeing anything either, and it would be...uncommon...for that many Crystal Ball analysts to get it so wrong after they all just projected he'd be a Husker.

BSU sure seems to be hinting that they're getting him. It's possible they could be dead wrong, which would be hilarious. But I'm guessing they're not.

Hope he chooses to be N, but if not best of luck to the young man. He is making a decision he thinks is best for him and we as fans have to respect and live with it. Also, it's only October. What if he commits to us today and then gets a late Washington or Oregon offer and flips late? Would you be more mad then? All in all, it's not any of our decisions. Hope he comes here but if not, nothing we can all do about it.
