Just got hired as the new Fresno State OC..... didnt even realize he was still coaching.

Langs is a good guy, I wish our old staff could of given his offense better OL play

Hey I’ll give the man SOME credit. We were horrible running then. We couldn’t even get 1 yard when needed. Danny didn’t exactly have much options. Either slam a RB head on into a stacked box with crap run blocking or try a play action and try and let your NFL style QB find a quick hit for first down??

Doesn't the lack of a running game fall on the OC's shoulders as well? I'm pretty sure that slamming a RB head on into a stacked box might have been the only running play in the playbook.

They had a FAR from creative run game, thats for sure..

Especially when we would use Wilbon over Ozigbo on those short to gain plays.

Yes. But I’d say we had a horrible Offensive line coach more then anything. Trust me, I’m not backing Danny as a play caller...heck look at my other reply that CLEARY said keep him away from play calling. But him calling pass on 3 and 2 more times then not was due to not having any shot at gaining a yard or 2 on the ground. Even with Ozigbo. And he’s a great RB. He had horrible blocking and they got horrible online coaching. Mike Riley should have canned him right away.
