He should have signed with State. He probably would be getting more carries.

I know His dad, Demetrius, fairly well. He played on the Meridian Wildcat state championship team in 1985. One of the best defensive players to ever come out of Meridian but unfortunately he was hurt early in his collegiate career at State. He could bench about 400ish and could run a 4.5 forty back in the 1980s. I guess Daniel and JJ are showing what those Hill genes can do in today's game.

If you’re not benching at least 4 plates a side, there’s really no point

Did not realize he was JJ father. He was a beast in high school.

Why arent we running him more ?
Haven’t seen him much at all since La Monroe
Playing against ULM isn’t the same as Minn South Carolina Mizz. Lots a young backs struggle in blitz pick ups and blocking assignments especially in the V&S RPO system. He will get there. But fluff and Wilson are more than capable right now. Gayten has issues blocking ans holding on to the ball.

He’s 4th string true fr. His time will come but he might get KT hurt in pass protection & probably doesn’t know the play book yet. He might start next year. But not ready this year.
Fluff will be back next year
