If the season ended today it seems to be a no-brainer the 4 playoff teams would be Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Michigan. Call me crazy if a couple of those teams lost, I would take UCF over a bad Oklahoma defense, LSU 2 loses, OSU barely wins now, Georgia is still not respected even if you beat Alabama. WSU would be interesting to see crazy Leach on the big stage. The committee probably thinks it is great that Milton got hurt and they could lose in the conference championship now. The only sport where Old People get to decide who is playoff worthy.

Whether it's fair or not, Milton's injury hurts UCF beyond just the possibility they may lose in the conference championship game. There is no question that without him, UCF's chances of beating a quality team go down considerably. The playoff committee wants the best matchups-no way they put UCF in the playoff without their best player.
UCF was not going to the playoff even if they had Tua TagmeI'mova at QB. Just not happening with that schedule.
