Great game between two great teams. Glenvar went up 2-0 in the 2nd before the Wildcats tied it at 2-2 in the sixth. Dan River's Wesley Thornton got stronger as the game went along and pitched a great game, along with Glenvar's Zack Duncan. Glenvar commitred a two-base two-out error in the 7th and Dan River's Bradley Tickle followed with a game winning single. Glenvar's quest to return to the state championship game ends with a 17-5 record. Dan River (19-2) advances to face Virginia High on Wednesday at Dan Daniels Park in Danville.
