1) He should have left 'better' 2) he DEFINITELY should have returned in 2019 better. He was never gracious until the game was over. We didn't have to be his enemy that he should have thrown the little barbs at. He waited until UF won before he treated us like someone other than an enemy that week... And that just wasn't necessary. Coaches leave and play the team again all of the time... Hell, he acted better toward Urban Meyer and UF in 2009 and 2010 than he did toward us after he left...

Yeah I always feel a bit awkward when someone is going on about being #1. I just think of the Ole Miss loss had he deflating it was.

I don't hate Mullen. I think he's a good coach and if he's still in the SEC when Saban hangs it up he'll have a chance at a title. But he doesn't have integrity and I have zero trust in him. I think he liked it here but didn't love it. It was just a job. I could be wrong but I think Lemonis actually loves it here. If Mullen had fully embraced Mississippi State he would have been a legend and probably ended up with his name on a building.

I'm not a Merlinz fan anymore, but, he took us to 8 straight bowl games w/ a 10-3 Orange Bowl year. He had an overall winning % of 60%, and conference of 46%. Comparing his record to Sherrill's, Merlinz winning 60%, Sherrill's 49%. In conference Merlinz 46% Sherrill 42%. You would take Sherrill over Merlinz? Sherrill won a wopping 6 more games than Merlinz while he was here, but it took him 37 more games to do it.

Croom beat a terrible Bama team in '07, a AL team that went on to a 7-6 record 4-4 in conference so take that crap out of here.
