Annoys me. The guy was even trashing the UK womens team on twitter a couple of years ago. If you respond to one of his nasty tweets he blocks you. All bark and no bite.
Been a member 10 years longer than you. I just don’t post much but the guy is good!
Yes, Oklahoma was put in simply for the rating with Young. How Ok State isn't there instead given their records and outcomes head to head is otherwise inexplicable. You don't lose all the games in January and February and still get in.
He's actually one of the best, if not THE best analyst out there. He makes a fool of himself on Twitter, but that doesn't make him unique. Twitter is an absolute cesspool. But when he sticks to straight analysis and commentary he's really good.
I wish I could block his twitter history from memory because I want to like him. He’s definitely one of the better analysts out there.
Love Dakich. I live in Indy and get to listen to him daily on 1070 and it's a treat. Yeah he hates UK but he's very fair to them on TV and has a ton of respect for Cal. Huge fan of DD.
His analysis of the game is very good. He baits people and gets in twitter wars with people like he did recently with Louisville fans and some people take the bait. I think he acts insane sometimes and definitely see why people don’t like him.
Recently during a Kentucky game he called himself out for saying Tyler Ulis wasn’t one of the best point guards in America. He said he was dead wrong and personally I appreciate when someone’s able to do that,

I just heard that the other day. A guy at the bar told me that Kevin Knox was a QB in High School and I said.... dang, no freaking way.. He says, I swear its as true as Dan Dakich holding Jordan to less than 10 points...and I said, dang. No freaking way....next you'll be telling me Willie Cauley Stein was a receiver in HS...and the guy says...that's stupid. Nobody would believe that.

Which probably means he hates BBN and not UK, exactly. Or maybe he does the smart business thing and simply trolls BBN - great for hits and retweets, great for keeping a story alive...
I know he’s an IU grad, but despite it I kind of like him to. Same for Bilas. I try not to let being a UK grad cloud all of my thinking and opinions.
Like him calling games, other than that hes a tool trying to get hits. Good at calling games though..
