He called out Bagley during the Duke/Virginia Tech game:

“I know this is blasphemy, but Bagley is all about Bagley. I mean, honest to goodness, I can see in 18 minutes why Duke was able to go on a run when he was hurt. You hate to say that about a kid, but he is about himself. He gets the ball, it doesn’t come out. He doesn’t play defense. He’s a terrific talent, don’t get me wrong. But you can see real clear, real fast, and I’ll take all the shots that people want to give me, but you can see he is about him.”

Apparently it got back to Bagley:


Then Dakich clowned on him again in the game tonight. [laughing]

Yeah,he hit Bagley 2 games in a row,I wondered why now I understand the reason.

Explain to me why people have Twitter . Seems to me it only creates drama . Is there a USEFUL reason to have it ?

If you follow the right people, it can be highly entertaining and informative. News tends to break and spread like wildfire there. The political stuff is straight garbage but just don’t follow politically inclined people if it’s not your thing.

Bilas' best days are long behind him at this point...he sucks azz these days.

It happened to Bilas almost overnight,well over about a 2 year period which is quick for a broadcaster.

Love him or hate him but I'll take him over Dick Vitale or Jay Bilas all day every day. Anyway...

I'm a big fan of DD. He brings experience and knowledge to the color position and is, well, colorful! Always seems fair in his analysis and is not afraid to be controversial. One of the best IMO.

That was odd, and maybe it was a personal agenda, who knows?! He was pretty complimentary of Ulis last night though. Dakich is as good as I've heard this year. Calls it like it is and is entertaining to listen to. Somewhat reminds me of Steve Lavin back in the day when he used to call games. Very charismatic.
