@dandakich

Gotta be much more..Self texting “gotta get some real guys” can’t possibly be a violation or even an indication of a potential violation..Kansas basketball, Bill Self hit with NCAA violation

There is much more.

Dakich is spinning to help a guy who he needs to talk with him so he can keep eating, the same way Dick Vitale does.

I hope this isn't the level of nonsense you are stooping to in an effort to cling to the "Denial" phase of grief. Move on to Anger -- rage at how unfair it is that Adidas Reps and Self cheated and the athletic department looked the other way, and so all the good folks in Dorothy Land are going to be punished by seeing their team put on probation, miss the tournament, probably forfeit a few dozen games and maybe lose your coach.

In 2018, the Federal jury ruled Kansas a victim of these Adidas employees. Judge Kaplan ordered them to pay Kansas restitution. Judge Kaplan also denied the NCAA request for wiretaps and other info on the grounds it was “all speculation” - and hence of no legal value.

Good luck with this one, fellas.

There is definitely more or the NCAA wouldn't be investigating and charging the Jailhawks with all the Level 1 violation and Lack of Institutional Control. Kansas is about to get bent over the scorers table without any lube.

If that’s all the NCAA’s got, they’re firing off a little wooden toy pop-gun.

Put it to you like this, obviously you are too dumb to comprehend. You will not know what the smoking guns is, until after you have been hit it with it. You will not know until you start feeling a burning sensation, you will then break into a sweat, bleed, then you know you have been hit with the smoking gun. Then you have to deal with the exit wound.

Nothing is going to happen to Kansas. I’ll be here for the inevitable crying and gnashing of teeth.

It’s true, we really don’t know what the NCAA has, but in a sense Dakich is right. There’s gotta be more. Cuz, here’s the thing. Those NOA’s are very specific. They don’t just name general charges. They give names, dates, and specific evidence of how a violation was committed. So there’s NO WAY that one text is all they have. & unless the NOA is made public, we won’t know what they have exactly. Anyone know when and if those NOA’s might be made public?

I guess times are just different, I remember feeling angry and embarrassed that a coach for team that I love could put them on probation. I just wanted whatever the problem was to be fixed. Now fans of schools cheating are in denial when they should be pissed at their coach for putting them in that position.

OK Ace, think what you want. KU admitting Grassnola was a booster played right into the hands of the NCAA, essentially, you stuck your own neck in the GD noose. They where willing to rule DeSousa cleared for the time being. Knowing that eventually getting KU to admit he is a booster would then not only make him lose it, but get proof of more severe infractions. It was a beautifully acted out master plan by the NCAA to get Kansas to admit guilt of more serious infractions, kind of a domino effect. Instead of one, they now have several rules broken.

Awe basic human psychology! Told a Duke troll ***** the other day! When accusations came out about AD and later Bledsoe I didn’t go to one single rival fans site not one single post even on my own teams site. Cause I wasn’t worried about there being any truth to it. Truth about human psychology is this the only reason you feel obligated not to just come here and post on threads defending Kansas but u are creating threads! Man U are shook up! Don’t over do on the Xanax that **** is dangerous! USA Today wouldn’t be writing an article like they did if this wasn’t going to be bad for Self and Kansas. Big papers don’t attach their names to anything that can get them sued for defamation of character. They got the goods on Kansas and The NCAA needs to make an example!

The lady doth protest too much, me thinks!
He's just a jackass who understands that this is going to be a long, painful process, but for now there is no disincentive to bluster and whistle past the graveyard. No one can prove him wrong TODAY.

How many Louisville fans crowed and capered over here assuring us that there would never be a consequence to the half-baked charges of a former street walker and there was zero chance the 2013 banner would ever be removed?

We all remember that. Now its the turn of the most deluded Kansas fans. Here's what is going to happen: Every game De Sousa ever played in will be forfeited, including the Final Four. There'll be at least a one-year ban from the tournament and loss of some scholarships. I'd say Self has less than a 30 percent chance to survive -- they used the new "coach's responsibility" rule against him first. That was no accident.

And to think how hard UK got hit because of the “ALLEGED” Chris Mills stuff! That’s mild dandruff compared to what’s been going on the past 4-5 years! Guaranteed KU won’t come remotely close to that punishment.

You, like the NCAA, got nuthin’

How naïve you are. Do you just think that somebody at the NCAA said, "Hey, it's a really slow day. Let's send Kansas a NOA." If they didn't have enough to nail a blueblood, they wouldn't waste their time, money, and effort. If I am wrong, just come back after KU is exonerated. Somehow, I don't think we'll here from you.

It worked at Chapel Hill, so they eventually changed the rules for those cheats.
they are not unc and it’s not the same case at all. the ncaa won’t lose a case in their jurisdiction. it’s all about athletes here not students and athletes.

What I don't understand is KU agreed that Gassnola was a booster in order to get DeSousa reinstated, but yet Gassnola admitted in court he payed the player $2,500. To me that's an immediate violation. It's no different than the Chris Mills package scandal only KU openly admitted it. I'll never grasp the reasoning on the part of KU as to why they admitted any relationship with him.
