Really hard to watch this game. Legit sadness. Should have been RU
Yea well Houston is just like watching ball at Rucker Park. No skill all (other than grimes) all athleticism and muscle
Please if we were playing right now it would be 5-5 and everyone would be posting about how we suck....
Let's go Houston! Villanova lost earlier, so it would be good day if Syracuse also lost, if nothing else, to shut up their fans as well! Obviously we all wish RU was playing, but since they are not, Houston winning tonight is the best outcome given the circumstances.

Vaunted Houston offense on track for another 60 point game.
We beat Syracuse by 10 without Geo. We would have won this game. And Houston is good. Watching this I am MORE impressed by this team and this season.
it's a miracle that Jarreau hasn't rubbed his hip once. I guess he doesn't need the sympathy calls today

I feel your pain... it would have been fun watching right now.. I would be screaming at my TV with a beer in my hand...but it is what it is. We must move on, make it back to the tournament next year and do better. it really was a blast watching!! I want that experience again next year.

hard to do. I am actually way more into football, but this has me sick. Especially when the announcers just said this houston team was down 9 to rutgers with under 5 left. LIKE how did we blow it. Should be us vs oregon state for a trip to the final 4. This could have changed rutgers hoops.

Couldn't watch, but glad Cuse got spanked. We would've spanked them, too, IMO, and would've had a 12-seed Oregon State team between us and the FF. If only. Damn.
Rutgers stalled up 5 w no signs of half court offense all season, or a go to isolated scorer. Combine that w Myles being weak, and its almost guaranteed a loss
I’m more football too. Hopefully Houston makes the final four. All final four/NC teams get one major test along the way. Let’s hope we were Houston’s.
Remember too this is the third straight NCAA for Houston. They already faced a couple of years of early round exits.
Houston's Jarreau reminds me of Teddy Bridgewater 2012 the way he is leading his team when he has a serious injury. A true leader.
You contradict yourself. Having "no signs of half court offense all season" SUPPORTS slowing it down. If we don't score anyway.. why would you want to not score faster?
we score best when we are pushing tempo which also includes defensive effort which totally went AWOL..slowing it down made them tight and carried it over to the defense. We had possessions where Young was not even getting the ball.
did you not watch the end game of Minnesota in regulation and then in overtime, did you not watch Clemson, because we won we forget how we were pulling our hair out watching the game slip away with our stall ball. You can say one play or one stop or one whatever got us the win, but the whole mindset is the issue which almost makes it a certainty we are not going to get one shot, one stop, one rebound. You see it in football and you see it in hoops. Its no way to play a game.
bac, we do this all the time and haven't lost a lot of these leads. People saying this strategy "guarantees a loss" look super foolish.. we do it all the time and don't lose.
We didn't even lose to Minnesota by the way, though I'm willing to give you that one as a lost lead. But also in that game we were up 12 with like 8 minutes left and then only 4 with 3:30 left.. we weren't stalling with 8 minutes left so again it's pretty weird to attribute losing that lead to stalling.
Because they needed to attack..gives them more opportunities plus the defense was carrying them
