When this crap is finally done how long do you expect Rick too stay coaching if no wrong doing is found ?. A person can only take so much especially when you get up in age.

Try cardchronicle.com that is where I read it. I also just saw a tweet from Mark Blakenbaker ( I think that is the correct name, I have been wrong with names before ) that shows where Mike "Mickey" the publisher of the book formed a new LLC in August to to publish the book under. This would protect any assets he has from a law suit filed by UL for publishing false information.
It sounds more and more like the IU alumnus does have a personal vendetta against UL. I saw this tweet on the front page of the Louisville page on Rivals, where Howie Lindsey tweets. You will have to scroll down a little to find Marks tweet.

Good read. This is getting interesting. Did I read 90-10 split was the financial agreement? Sure doesn't sound like there was a bidding war for the story.

Forget ambulance chasers, that's so 1980s. I hear prostitute publishing is the new thing. IU should implement a course on the best locations to place the GoPro on your hooker.:D

Very simple..........for both you. He believes he has enough facts to proof that the story is true. That is why he is publishing it...
No, he's publishing it to gain notoriety and make a little money, not because he's virtuous and wants the truth told.

And the vetting process may not be whether there were sufficient facts and evidence. That evidence process cuts both ways. Vetting may have been that there aren't facts TO THE CONTRARY.

A simple example is a cash transaction where neither side can prove anything. A ***** can say she was paid money when she was not. The problem is the "client"--McGee in this case--can't prove he didn't pay anything.

As long as the IU booster was comfortable that the *****'s story couldn't be DISPROVEN, he felt comfortable publishing his book...

But but but she had pictures of our guys in street cloths. And possibly Dre 'playing her' in text messages. I know I've said some things in the past I didn't mean to get a little action. So of course you lie to hookers.

Correct. The only person we know that promised to pay her anything was the pride of IU.

We shouldn't be too hard on the hooker. Even though they want you to see it that way, it's really only misdirection. I suspect she's had a hard enough life and sold herself out long ago. To place blame on her now doesn't make sense. Kind of like picking on the weak kid. Think about it this way...If you heard her story straight from the horse's mouth, you're more worried about being in the wrong neighborhood. And nobody ever starts a sentence with " I know this hooker and she says".....

I could be wrong, but I thought the whole point of publishing a book was using the publisher's reputation. They thought enough of the story to publish it.

I heard the author was on the radio today and said the daughters were not involved.

In the book didn't he claim the daughters participated?

I didn't hear the show on the radio, and I didn't read the book - so I'm on the outside on both ends.

If the story is already changing, and goalposts are moving.......

THIS is an interesting quote from Cady's interview on 93.9 late this afternoon:

@UofLSheriff50: Cady: I'm not sure it was prostitution - (his book is titled 'Escort Queen')

You know Eric is a self professed Uk fan. Good writer/reporter though!
In his blog today, Crawford, without crediting the source, says someone sent him information about Cady. The link is a1999 Indianapolis newspaper article when Cady got fired.

They do seem to be moving.

Something else is strange here...If we were doing the things they said... Why didn't we use pay as you go contract phones? Cheap as hell and if you pay cash with refill cards they are untraceable. Who would ever use their real phone for this type of communication? I suspect she thought she was being sly and building a story. While dre was saying whatever to keep her on the hook. I think he used his real phone not realizing her intentions.

I think she got pissed because he took the job in MO.and whatever relationship they had was over. How many UofK players were also being recruited by UofL and had visits here? No way you could keep that many from talking or bragging about a visit like that or a conversation between players being overheard somehow it would have leaked long before being put in a book. The only name of a recruit she could come up with was Blakeney and the time frame was wrong on that,McGee was already gone during his recruitment. She probably saw on a website or in the news when he chose Florida over UofL.

To answer the question regarding what has sUcK done since Calipari, I can only say what former players of their program have said. Several players have made public comments about the perks of playing for sUcK. The most recent was Eric Bledsoe who posted on his Facebook page, " If your a recruit you should go to Kentucky, they will get you anything you want sex, drugs, money it doesn't matter ".

Never seen that quote!?
Just because your UL program could possibly be in some hot water..why make such statements without the proof ?

Do we not see the irony here? We just gave a pass to a poster who blatantly misquoted a source and then posted it as if it were gospel and then people accept it. Yet now we want to discredit the publisher, not the source for the same thing. Please try to check your facts before posting...

While I agree with your message, there is a big difference is someone on the internet spreading misquotes versus a publisher/author who is supposed to be writing a true story. Maybe every single word is true. IDK, and frankly IDC, it won't change my fan hood. I'm still going to be a UofL Cardinals fan even after I stop breathing.

Cue,

I have no issues with you but I deal with public documents on a daily basis and people should realize that emails, texts are all subject to the same scrutiny as a published document, especially in a legal sense.

This is dead on. No way this could have been hidden for this long if it was true. With the local media practically hating UofL and just looking for any reason to hammer us, this would have been exposed long ago. Pat Forde has been licking his chops for something like this for years.

No way !

You mean Mr pat forde who checked DMV records for players cars, and followed them
around, checking license plate numbers. Not him..........

If any of this is true, it was really nice of Andre to cavort with a self-proclaimed ghetto rat. Talk about trashing the house and then leaving town. It would be interesting to know if he took this part of his repertoire to UMKC.

I do understand your point of view and I agree. Everyone should take the time to fact check everything they write, but the cold hard truth is not everyone will. Hell we see misquotes and even out right lies in print on "reputable" news sites. CNN, FOX, NBC...etc...We see it every single day it seems.

Or do you mean all the media from CNN to ESPN who checked their facts before reporting on the Duke rape case.?They had the Duke athletes convicted and wanted the coach fired only to find out it was all false.
