He did a terrific job.
Don't know how many times I'd say something then he'd reiterate it.
He was SPOT ON. About everything. Didn't disagree with anything he said the entire game that I can think of.

So, you think that Dakich is a great analyst, because he agrees with you? OK.

Dakich is a real butthole when he wants to be (Knight effect) and knows exactly how to troll & push fans buttons, especially UK fans. He is also the most honest and realistic announcer in the game in my opinion. He was dead nuts on UK all night and exactly right in his criticism of the players hustle and effort. He was much more complimentary than I was in my thoughts on this team tonight. Other than Knox for a few stretches we were miserable and heartless. If any of these kids think they're NBA ready they're so mistaken. G League at best

He's not nearly as biased as Jay Bias or Dook Vitale... I listened to him rip Crean and IU a new *** many times over their effort.

No he's a great analyst for having the willingness to say, " “what is Kentucky even doing on offense, no working to post, no cutting or screens, just sort of give it to Alexander and let him dribble around.” That was one of many absolutely correct observations. But, his pointing out how Gabriel gave up on looking at his man for a block out, or how our players were jogging back and getting beat for easy baskets, and then having it replayed, showed clear cut some of the issues. If you don't think is the case, you simply do not understand the game.

I honestly have no idea why the hate. He's really good. Some people just get triggered and whine about the smallest critism.

Eh. I think most fans wouldn’t question his ability in the booth. The reason people hate him is his ridiculous trolling and hyperbole

This. I think Dakich's stuff tonight would work well for Cal to use in a practice film session tomorrow. The way he'd make the point, and then the replay would show EXACTLY what he was just saying--well, that's the sort of thing our players should be shown.

Dakich can sometimes be an ******* (although I think much of that is just tongue in cheek trolling for fun), but more than any other ESPN analyst, he has those moments where you can clearly tell he's a former coach who knows the game very well. He doesn't just say the obvious stuff, but also notices the other off the ball details that other commentators (and fans) miss.

That's why I like him--as an analyst. As a person, I'm not so sure. But, as a basketball analyst, he's really good.

He can be extremely obnoxious and acts like a butthurt middle schooler at times.

When he's not being an *******, he is a good analyst.

So many here don't like him, and that's fine if you feel that way. But, he did the best job of any commentator pointing out all the issues of our team. Did an excellent job explaining the problems, showing on replay the mistakes, and I don't think anything wrong at all with him doing that. I would make our players watch this broadcast over and over listening to the comments. If that doesn't fire them up nothing will.

He's actually a pretty good commentator. It's when he gets away from ESPN broadcast and gets on the he radio and on twitter that he becomes an asshat. I actually like his broadcast on games but when he's on the radio and twitter, the real Douchich.

I can't disagree with a single thing Dakich said....I think he is the best analyst out there.

No doubt he knows b'ball...but I also wonder how many of his points he got from reading this board.
