As ridiculous as it is, the system is generally much better to fathers with children out of wedlock than it is to divorcing fathers.
I mean, that's still only 2 out of the ten that didn't inherit it (at least according to that list; not sure whether the other two were set up by family businesses or not). I guess that's a better look than divorce, although I'm not sure the divorce list looked that bad. Onlly two I'm aware of on the divorced list, one was left for another woman (although I guess it counts against her that Bezos didn't even go for somebody particularly younger and good looking) and the other did initiate the divorce, but her husband was pretty openly a sleeze ball with younger women (although it does look like she ignored it until she got embarrassed by the publicity, but maybe she really was naive before that).
Yeah, that list is just a meme at this point. I've seen it dozens of times over the years.
