That has a lot more specifics about the spring break incident than anything else I have read.

Very interesting story. Thanks for sharing the link.

I guess I didn't realize that Williams' injury that kept him out of spring practice came from the mugging.

I came away with an even better impression of Dak and a serious disdain for some of our fans, including students.

Welcome to the USA in 2015. The pornstar Kim Kardashian is one of the highest paid "entertainers" in the world. It is a 2 edged sword. Dak means a lot to people but also he should be able to have a life. There are some people that I would like to shake their hand but you also hate to bother them.

^^This.^^
At my age, and really all our ages I would presume, there are many famous people, & athletes with whom I'd like to share a handshake. An autograph or a selfie feels like too much. Unless, of course you're in line for something like that or for kids, etc.

Would I geek out if I met Sir Patrick Stewart? Absolutely. If I could have a brew with Will The Thrill I probably would want photo proof.

So, maybe I'm not that much of a curmudgeon.

I had hoped in vain that our fans would give him some privacy in daily school life or appropriate venues. The story from graduation and the inability to attend class are particularly bothersome.

Thought it was also interesting showing the contrast college athletes face today compared to what they had back when John Bond played. After reading that segment makes me think Bond wouldn't make it in today's social media.

Yet, apparently he'd be a good friend to have in a bar fight.
