Culpeper lost 61-54 to Albemarle after leading them by double digits. This year the tournament decided to not match any of the Charlottesville schools against each other. That was the dumbest thing they could do. As good as Culpeper has been in the past few years I would hook up with Eastern View and host a tournament every year.

Culpeper Xmas Tournament

Problem is Culpeper hasn't done nothing like that since the early 90's. The EV girls do a 4 team one each year. But if you use Culpeper HS and Culpeper Middle school gyms they could pull off a 6 team one easily. But they don't think like that... they have that huge Middle School Gym that can hold huge crowds and they don't take advantage of it. Also Culpeper is pretty much a hour or less from major cities so finding teams to come play wouldn't be hard.
