Is it wrong to say that this seems like good news.

I'm going to hate myself in the morning for this, but I completely agree. We need B1G caliber players if we expect to compete in this league. Beating out schools like Delaware, Eastern Michigan and Bryant University for players is not going to cut it.

Thiam is a legit B1G talent...keeping him on board will be difficult, as other P5 schools (one in particular) are coming after him hard.

Bigger fish to fry than worry about a recruit.
Sad to see him go, but the new HC ,if worth his chops, should be able to pull in someone with comparable talent to replace Dailey.
Not saying it doesn't hurt losing the kid, just saying the new HC should be able to recruit someone like him talent wise , if that HC is a good recruiter.

He's not the only one....stay tuned!
We'll see.
Don't think losing anymore will drop RU's recruiting rating out of the top 25.
Maybe when the next HC comes in the ones that leave will be replaced with those as good or better.
Panicking over losing under the radar types isn't my style, nor is someone implying bad news might be coming make me run for cover.
But nice try

He really don't have much of a choice but to come back not unless some P5 school offers

Let them all go at this point. We have no coach and I don't think Hobbs appointed an interim coach.

My exact point....,if they want to leave then go......whoever is the next coach should be able to recruit his own guys not marginal guys from the prior coach.

So much was said here in what wasn't said. Hopefully the new coach can keep Thiam.
