Steals/blocks:
DA 2/1, 10 mins
BB 1/0, 32 mins
those number don't prove anything.......the kid is a freshman that isn't ready for the big stage yet.....I am in no way disparaging the kid........people on these boards have made him to be a hero and they won't let the notion go.......I haven't watched but maybe 25 minutes of basketball...........every time I have seen DA he is slow footed AND missing the 3 point shot..........I am no basketball Jones but.......if your specialty is the three point shot......you better be making the shot.......and the F'king game isn't where you work on it......the gym is open 24/7.....

He has the role of Cameron Mills at this juncture. That is completely fine. Cal has to get him some open looks. He will be a damn good player for us.

That’s because he’s forced to take shots. Good or bad, doesn’t matter. It’s a point of emphasis by our “coach”.
Duh..........if your specialty is shooting the three and you pass them up..........who is supposed to remind this kid that "he is a 3 point shooter"........the simple fact is the kid hasn't lived up to his reputation as a three point shooter........his defense is lacking..........he isn't ready yet........put him out there and leave him and ruin his confidence...........you don't build confidence through repetition.........you build it by being successful in what you are trying to do.........he needs to work on his shooting and the rest of his game.....
