It would be funny watching Southern Miss go into Oxford and win that regional.

Interesting that they release bracketology based on how they think the teams are going to finish, rather than the "if the season ended today" projections (like Lunardi does for basketball). I prefer the latter because presumably when you speculate on future games, you are basing it on what teams have done to this point, which is what an "if the season ended today" projection would be based on. Seems like they are making it even more speculative than it inherently is.

I want to host a Super but I would also accept some revenge for the Bobby Dalbec incident.

Right. My point is its odd to think a team with an 18 RPI would be a 5 seed. Now some of these teams in RPI aren’t relevant like Villanova and Fairfield in the top 10. But why are we a 9? Bc we are two games back in the league.

if they are right we have less wiggle room than I hoped.

When I went to the Tallahassee regional a couple of years back I med a good group of FSU fans. They had such a good time in Starkville the last time they played us in the postseason, now they go back every year. It would be nice for them to make the trip.

Both of the last two times we were national seeds, we had no more than two series losses all year.

2016 - Texas A&M
2019 - LSU, Arkansas

And both of this years we were the No. 6 overall seed meaning we were among the last 2 or 3 national seeds. This pretty much tells me we can afford to lose the Vandy series but that it’s the rest of the way if we want to feel safe about being in the Top 8. Any other series loss and we will be cutting it really close or could fall to the second group. And we obviously have several tough series to get through still.
